Is Cosmic Obfuscator really free? ▾
Yes! 100% free. All obfuscation methods including VM protection, string encoding, control flow scrambling, and identifier renaming are available at no cost.
Will obfuscated code still work in Roblox? ▾
Yes! The "Preserve Roblox Globals" option (enabled by default) ensures all Roblox API calls remain intact. Your scripts will run normally. We recommend testing after obfuscation before deploying.
What is the difference between Stack VM and Register VM? ▾
Stack VM uses a push/pop operand stack architecture — simpler but very effective. Register VM uses register allocation with polymorphic dispatch, making it significantly harder to reverse engineer. For maximum protection use Register VM with the Maximum level.
What does "Maximum" protection level do? ▾
Maximum protection enables full polymorphic dispatch, multi-layer XOR + bit-rotation encoding, and anti-tamper checks. This makes static analysis extremely difficult.
My obfuscated script gives an error. What should I do? ▾
Try these steps: 1) Disable Control Flow Scrambling and try again. 2) Use a lighter preset (Light or Medium). 3) Set VM Type to "None" first. 4) Contact support if the issue persists.
Does obfuscation make my code 100% uncrackable? ▾
No obfuscation tool guarantees 100% protection — a determined attacker with enough time can reverse engineer any script. However, Cosmic Obfuscator makes it significantly harder, deterring most casual attempts.
What is the watermark and can I remove it? ▾
The watermark is a Cosmic Obfuscator comment block added to your protected script. Set the Watermark option to "None" in the obfuscator settings to remove it.
